Color Palette

Every site has its primary and secondary colors, in addition to its semantic and text colors. A well-defined color specificaiton simplifies design and development, and ensures compliance with accessibility regulations.

Most branding guidelines follow a similar pattern. A tokenized approach that names colors by their respective application enables portablitiy of cascading style sheets (CSS), which simplifies spinning up a new site (or a new client).
