Marketing Asset Library
Campaigns for minority and women-owned businesses (MWBEs) in commercial construction
A marketing team for a leader in the Building Products & Equipment industry envisioned a marketing portal for its network of Woman and Minority Owned Business subcontractors. This bold concept would enable business partners to browse, design and purchase marketing collateral from brochures to billboards. Site included dozens of digital asset types under a multifaceted taxonomy.
User Experience and Design
The client lead on this initiative presented sketches and slides describing the vision. Designs and user journeys were reviewed daily.
Tech Stack
Adobe products were used throughout. Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) was the content management system (CMS). With the extensive library of digital assets Adobe’s digital asset manager (DAM) was the best choice. Designs and prototypes were done using Adobe XD. The commerce engine was Magento and the marketing platform was Marketo.
The search platform was Solr. The solution also integrated with Salesforce and Okta for CRM and profile management, respectively.
My Contributions
- Led daily product design calls
- Collaborated with UX designers to prototype and design the final deliverable
- Authored detailed functional specifications for customizing AEM core components to meet the design requirements.
